Georgian Bay Reads

The First Annual “Georgian Bay Reads”, held October 24th in Creemore, was a great success!  Through the course of an evening of enthusiastic book debate, Owen Sound’s defender, Andrew Armitage, made a compelling case for Lawrence Hill’s The Book of Negroes, but the final winner, eloquently defended by Thornbury author and librarian Ken Haigh, was Fifth Business by Robertson Davies.  “Thank you” to organizers, participants - and the Owen Sound Team that made such a good showing in Creemore.
