Was “Organize” part of your New Year’s Resolution?

The Library can help! Clear off your bookshelves. The Library accepts book donations all year round for the Library’s Great Annual Book Sale held in October.  We welcome books of all types that are in good condition, clean, and not musty.

Proceeds from the sale support new book purchases and Library special projects.

Owen Sound Art Banner Project

We are delighted that the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library’s Carnegie wing is the winter home for about 20 colourful banners that were created as part of this past summer’s “Owen Sound Art Banner Project”. More banners are on display at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. Each banner features the art work of a local artist. These banners will be on display in the Library and at the Bayshore until May 2010.

Congratulations to the Owen Sound Art Banner Committee, and all artists and donors on this fabulous initiative – sharing art year-round in Owen Sound.
